MVG field as a read only field

Is it possible to configure A MVG field as a read only field without using scripting? plz suggest me.

Yes its possible do one thing make the destination field/Primary ID field for that MVG as read only. MVG field will become read only

Default MVG field will be in read only mode. We cannot update. We can assosoiate.

Yes. At the Applet Level property make the Read Only Mode property of that field True.
