Hi Friend

Cognos model is the metadata structure.
For adding new query items we will fallow this steps
1) select model you want add query item.
2) Select the query subject you want add query item.
3) Right click the query subject and select new query item.
    add query item window will appear and select check box model level.
4) Publish the package.
