Induction motor is one of the AC motor operated by an induction principle. That principle says whenever a conductor moves in a magnetic field ,an e m f is induced in that conductor.Induction moter basically known as rotating transformer because of it's working by an induction principle. There are two types of induction motor are there, squrriel cage and slip ring induction motor.

Inductor Motor based on the principle of induction, in this when we apply single phase AC current field is set up as motor winding are closed current is induced in them which once moved through any method (capacitor start) cut the magnetic field and force is exerted on the motor

Induction motor is motor that work on the principle of INDUCTION, when the stator winding is connected to the supply mains then there is magnitic flux generated due to the flow of current in stator wdg. that magnetic flux get induced in the rotor wdg and due to this there is emf generated in it resulting to develope a magnetic flux. This magnetic fulx produced by rotor wdg gets linked with stator wdg which results to generate a torque.Due to this the rotor start rotating in the air gap provided,
