Submitted by: ASHOK1324 A project is a set of files that define metadata in one or more models.
A model irepresents data source info an contains the info for business requirements and performance enhancements.
Frame Work Manager allows the users to model metadata and pulich the packages.
Query Subjects are tables of metadata added from source databases into FW manager.
Query Items are fields/columns/attributes of source database tables in FW manager.
Name space is a container of query subjects, query items and their relationships. Name spaces are isolated, but cannot be related.
Dimensional map/object is the order of query items to support drill down and drill up operations.
Package is a collection of name spaces and dimensional maps. A package gets published [exported] from FW manager into Cognos Content Store in Cognos Server. Package is a collection of name spaces and dimension maps.
