For negative testing of copy n paste we check for all other commands
of the package, like-

* Pressing copy on selected content - it should not bold / italic etc.

* on pressing highlighted content should not cut.

For positive testing of copy we can design test cases like ?

1) It should be dehighlited if no content is selected.

2) Copy icon and command should be highlighted just after selecting any content.

3) Without any selection when we press hot key ?ctrl+c? it should display
clipboard.

4) It should copy again n again to different selections and store it on the
clipboard.

5) It should copy content with their formats.

For Paste-

1) paste icon and command should be dehilighted at beginning.

2) It should highlited just after copy something.

3) It should paste same content with their styles when we use hot key/ command/
icon.

4) It should paste n time, same content(last copied content).

5) It should paste copied content from clipboard as per our selection from
clipboard.

And many more we can find ?? I will update latter.

open MS word and type in some text
 verify by clicking on  edit  from toolbar and select ...selectall(it will select the text) and then select copy and paste it on MS word
verify by selecting only partial text
verify by using key board shortcuts

Testcase for Cut / Paste in Word Format
1.Check whether we are typed something in many fields
2.Check whether we can select  by clicking and dragging
3.Check whether we are dragging it displays to be covered with some highlighted colors
4.Check whether we can copy the highlighted field by pressing Ctrl+x
5.Check whether we cut the field it cannot  shows the cutted one
6.Check whether we can paste the cut by selecting Ctrl+v
7.Check whether the field we cut and pasted is correct

1. Verify that the text which is selected for copy, that area should get highlighted.
2. Verify that on the selected text if right click is done then copy option should be enabled and paste option should be disabled.
3. Verify that once the selected area is copied then in the right click paste option should get enabled
4. Verify if the text is not selected then cut and copy should be disabled in the right click option.
5. Verify that the using the short cut keys like CTRL+C, CTRL+V the text are getting pastes.
6. Verify that using Edit menu option the user is able to copy and paste the text.
7. Verify that if some text area is selected and right click paste is done then copied text should get overwrite on the selected text.
8. Verify that the copy should copy the content with own format.
9. Verify that Paste function should paste the content n times.

12 if we are without saving file exit from
ms word its should display alert msg box

word page then click delete option

17 check in which versions its opened
other than 2007 (its already in 07)
18 we enter text or numbers or pic its should
display in word document
19 check whether we r able to open saved
file with all contents as it is
20 verify that once the selected area is
copied then in the right click paste option
should get enable
21 check the text is not selected then
cut and copy should be disabled
22 check the already saved with content
same name and contents save it in
same path
