Yes. It is possible.  We can connect two fact tables in the universe with the concept of "Aggregate Awareness" concept.

With this concept we can improve the performance of the Universe also....

Yup ofcourse by fact constellation i.e joining two fact tables and via foreign key relation

Yes. It is possible. We can connect two fact tables in the universe with the concept of "Aggregate Awareness" concept.
The process of joining the two fact table is called Fact constellation

The only way to connect two fact tables is by using conformed dimension.

As comment by lot of DWH gurus above , two fact tables can be connected only using confirmed dimension , defination of confirmed dimension:if one primary key of dimension is defined in two fact tables it is called confirmed dimension.
