Why Test Director does not show Fail status for an automated test script that is actually failed in reality but the status in TD is still Passed?

hi,similar problem i encountered working with Test Director when I had to test automate an application using WinRunner 8.2.This thing could be overcome when you check(or)enable the check box for Failed tests ... available in the Tools,Run,setting option.

The fail status is not showing because,in TD one option under settings is unchecked.Tools--->General Options--->Run--->Settings--->Check the Check box for Fail Tests on context sensitive Error.Ram
