Testcases can be mapped to Requirements through Requirement Tracability matrix. In which Testcases can be traced back to their Test Sceanrios and TestScenarios can be traced back to Reqirements Specification document. In this matrix we can even map bugs to their related testcases so that we can easily know in which the requirement the bug is occured.

Traceablity matrix.
While designing Test Case in TD/MQC in desin tab(test plan) we are linking the particular test case to Particular requirement useing requirement linking sub tab in the test plan. while executeong the TC , if the TC fails/pass/hold it s affecting in the requirement tab go to requirement tab to see the status(requiremnt tab->tools-> requiremnt analysis)
