Testcases can be mapped to Requirements through Requirement Tracability matrix. In which Testcases can be traced back to their Test Sceanrios and TestScenarios can be traced back to Reqirements Specification document. In this matrix we can even map bugs to their related testcases so that we can easily know in which the requirement the bug is occured.

wE USE THE TRACEABIILITY MATRIX WHEREBY WE MAP THE TEST CASES TO THE SPECIFICATIONS

We can map test cases with requirements and can map defects also logged for that test case in test director .

Testcases can be mapped to Requirements through Requirement Tracability matrix. Traceablity matrix.

While designing Test Case in TD/MQC in desin tab(test plan)
we are linking the particular test case to Particular requirement useing requirement linking sub tab in the test plan.
while executeong the TC if the TC fails/pass/hold it s affecting in the requirement tab
go to requirement tab to see the status(requiremnt tab->tools-> requiremnt analysis)

By using the Requirement Traceablity matrix we can make a relationship between the Requirements test cases & Defects (Defects is optional).
