These are the the jJob Summary responsibilities for the Sr.QA analyst oppurtunity position which I'm goint to that company.Could you please in detail analyse and provide examples to each of these points.
:
Automate and test new or modified software programs. Evaluate and test new or modified software programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and implement automation testing projects.
• Maintain and update automation test databases.
• Work with product development to design new automated test cases.
• Automate and test software programs, including test case design and execution of alpha, beta, functional, regression, and smoke tests.
• Update and install new releases of testing tools used by the QA automation group and keep aware of new developments.
• Write and distribute reports to describe automation program evaluation problems found, corrections needed, and problem areas.
• Track overall test coverage for application.
• Log any issues/defects encountered during test cycles and conduct fix verification.
• Identify, create and maintain automated Functional and GUI based tests.
• Update and install new releases of testing tools used by the QA group and keep aware of new developments.
• Write and distribute reports to describe program evaluation problems found, corrections needed, and problem areas.
• Work with and understand distribution and Version Control mechanisms.

Role I. QA trainee

A trainee can be a candidate with 1-year experience in IT field with the right aptitude towards developing the following skill set.

Roles and responsibilities of a QA trainee

Test case writing for different projects.

Learning the art of Peer to peer review.

Capturing review Defects.

Getting trained on different products and maintaining test environments.

Getting trained on Automated tools.

Getting trained on at least one language for performing White box testing

Process Adherence.

Role II. QA Analyst

A QA analyst should have minimum 2years experience as a tester and should possess the skill set to satisfy the following responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities of QA Analyst

Test case writing

Peer to peer review.

Capturing review Defects.

Creating and Maintaining test environments.

Testing Manual and Automated

Bug Reporting

Bug Tracking.

White box testing

Daily status report.

Attending team meetings.

Process Adherence

Given their individual excellence a QA analyst can evolve into either a QA coordinator or a QA architect depending on their aptitude towards technical/ team handling skills.

Role III. QA Architect

A QA Architect should have minimum 3 to 4 years experience as a tester. A QA architect is not expected to handle a team but should possess the ability to lead from the front on all technical issues related to Automated testing test environment network complexities product complexities etc.

Roles and Responsibilities of a QA Architect.

Primary responsibilities

Automated tool evaluation

Improvisation on test environment (Solution providing for bottle necks etc)

Resolving complexities related to product network etc and sharing knowledge.

Metrics collection.

Ensuring Process Adherence.

Secondary Responsibilities

Test case writing

Peer to peer review.

Capturing review Defects.

Creating and maintaining test environments.

Testing Manual and Automated

Bug Reporting

Bug tracking.

White box testing

Role IV. Project Lead.

A Project Lead should have minimum 5 years experience as a tester. A Project Lead should possess the ability to lead a team size of minimum 5-10. He should be able handle all issues related to both testing as well as people and should be a bridging force between the client people and the company.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Project Lead.

Primary responsibilities

Client Interaction

Monitoring the tasks done by Testers Coordinators and Architects.

Ensuring there is no Schedule slippage.

Daily Status report.

Arranging and attending team meetings.

Constant process improvisation.

Ensuring Constant performance improvisation of all team members.

Metrics collection.

Ensuring Process Adherence.

Secondary Responsibilities

Design review.

Capturing review Defects.

Testing Manual and Automated

Bug Reporting

Bug tracking.

Role V. Project Manager

A Project Manager should have minimum 8 + years experience in the testing field. A Project Manager should possess the qualities to lead from the front on all client interaction people issues infrastructure issues technical issues and business issues. He/she should be able to handle multiple teams and clients. Project Manager is responsible for clients and company s satisfaction in all assigned projects.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Project Manager

Primary responsibilities

Client Interaction

Project Planning.

Creating Test Strategy for each project.


Handling multiple teams. Monitoring the tasks done by Testers Coordinators Architects and leads through a reporting mechanism.

Setting up testing standards and scope dynamically.

Ensuring there is no Schedule slippage.

Ensuring that all deliverables and requirements are met in time with quality for each project.

Arranging and attending team meetings.

Constant process improvisation.

Ensuring Constant performance improvisation of all team members.

Ensuring Process Adherence.

Constant appraisals of all team members.

Monthly quarterly presentations to senior management.

Secondary Responsibilities

Design reviews.

Capturing review Defects.

Participating in the Business process (deal clinching efforts).
