Data modeling is the process of designing a data base model. In this data model data will be stored in two types of table fact table and dimention table

fact table contains the transaction data and dimention table contains the master data.

Data mining is process of finding the hidden trends is called the data mining.

Data modelling is nothing but optimizing the data in ods for further analysis ..which is carried out by diffrent algorthims..etc..
Data mining is nothing but finding intersting pattern,trends..new defnition to the data and create BI out of it .
