By using incremental refreshing for the cube, you don't need to recreate the cube for updates it will only update the cube by latest information. This will increase the performance in Transformer.
For incremental refreshing/update, you have to check the check box indicating (This Cube Is Incrementally Updates) in Processing tab of properties dialog box of the cube.

You have missed one more important point.

For incrimental update cube additionally we need to create hot files and frequently update the cube and over write the old hot files with latest hotfiles and then update the cube.
