RE: Could ne one solve n xplain these for me?1.T...

Ans 1: 73 n 37

Ans 2: Since A n B have lied, A has to be in the last position and c should not be in the third position.... Since C,D n E have told the truth, E must be in the fourth position (coz of C's statement) which leaves C to be in either first or second position. C cannot be in the first position coz of D's statement. Hence C is in the second position which leaves d the third position......

Therefore the order is B C D E A

RE: Could ne one solve n xplain these for me?1.T...

consider  B in 1st place.....

1.D says B is in 1st place is true. so D cant b in 2nd place(silver medal!)

2. E says D is not the first... is true. so E cant b in 2nd place

3. A says i'm not last is true if A is in 2nd place. hence A cant b in 2nd place

4. So C has to b in 2nd place.

now, B,C in first n second place resp

5. E cant b behind A as C is false.

6. E shud b before A. and since E is true, A cant b last.

So, _ _ _ will b

=> A _ _ which wont b right ...acc to (5).

=>_ _ A wont b right .....acc to (6)

=>_ A _ will b right.

As E is before A it will be E A _.....ie. EAD

hence

B,C,E,A,D
