Where does testing start in the lifecycle?

for any project testing starts with when our BA confirms the project.after taking a detailed view of SRS our testing starts as parallel to the designers with understanding of SRs.

STLC sw testing life cycle is:-

Test Initiations---->Test Planning--->Test Design-->Test Execution---->Test Reporting

Testing starts after integration testing is completed, we get a mail stating that integration is completed and to start smoke / system testing.

It Depends on the Life Cycle Followed by Oraganization.

In Waterfall it start From Design Time.

In V Model it will start Simulteneous with Programmers.
