YES its the same.. testing methods or technique or procedures tell us how to test the required software product,

No they are different,

The following are the methods of testing
1. Black box testing
2. White box testing
3. Grey box testing....

Where as there are different techiques used in testing... Please refer to the link for different kinds of techinques....
