What is the c++ and UNIX skill level needed for Electronics engineer

I am in 3rd year of electronics engg. and i want to know upto what level should i study C++ (and unix, oracle) in order to clear the placement interviews.
I am doing my engg from PTU.

You need not know the advanced level as only by real time experience you would get this. But I would suggest you not to be in the basic level also. You must be above basic level. Regading the technical aspects of the Interview questions you could have a look at the link

You should have all the basic understaning for C++ like OOPs concept use of variable static, const, globes where and why.

You would know about C also.
