10Base5An Ethernet term meaning a maximum transfer rate of 10 Megabits per second that uses baseband signaling, with not exceeding 500 meters per segment,use in coxial cable this is thicknet cable. 
 
10BaseTAn Ethernet term meaning a maximum transfer rate of 10 Megabits per second that uses baseband signaling and twisted pair cabling.and distance doesnot exceed more than 100 meters.
