I am unable to start my Informatica Repository Service, Even if I start the service, it stops immediately.
i hav windows server 2003 OS

Please, any one have a solution to this problem

Hi

I hope its some installation probelem.If service of informatica is not starting means check prerequisities for installation of informtaica...

And it should run under local account... check this one also... if it is in administrator account then also it will not work...

If u have still problem..please send screen shot to me that particular error....

Check Informatica server configuration, may be ur using Administrator as user just check wether that user is exist on db side

Hi,

Uninstall Informatica and go to regedit and delete all the files of informatica.

Then restart the PC and Login as administrator and install the informatica.

This will resolve the issue. If still problem exists please drop a mail.

Hey guys

     Check out the temperory server config which you assigned and also connections properties. If they are perfect i guess informatica server starts up with no error's

   Check out the system's event log for the err you get

Hi all,

I am getting the following message when I start the
infa Repository server ..

Could not start INFORMATICA Repository SERVER on Local Computer

ERROR 1053 : the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion

This is the first time I found the above problem.
Could you plz let me know what might be the reason ..


Environment : Win sever 2003 , Oracle 9i and Infa 7.1.1.
