it must be isosceles,

bcoz,if 3 birds cross a point at a time and 2 go in opposite dir,implies dist between those is 2x

and dist between othe bird to any of the bird be same,if they travell with same speed(not mentioned)

so,the distances are x,x,2x=>isosceles

Isosceles triangle.

if two birds are flying in a opposite direction then the third bird should face the other two. the distance between the two birds with the one flying alone will be same. so the two sides of a triangle are same. which makes it isosceles triangle.
