I completed B.sc biochemistry.I would like to learn MCDBA. Is this is the right course to enter into the computer field to get a good job with nice salary.Please suggest.

MCDBA - Microsoft Certified Database Administrator on Microsoft SQL Server.  MCDBA is an advanced-level certification.  Anyone can do MCDBA, there are no prerequisites for doing the same.   It is recommended that you have atleast 1 year experience working with SQL Server. 

You must pass four exams, (3 core and 1 elective) to MCDBA Certificate. 
On passing 1 qualifying exam for MCDBA, You achieve Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification.
You will also have options to get certified further as,
MCAD (Microsoft Certified Application Developer) or
MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer) certification.

With MCDBA, you can build your career in computer field as database developers, database analysts / administrators.

The job work may involve activities such as

  • Install and configure SQL Server.
  • Configure and manage security.
  • Derive physical database designs. 
  • Developing logical data models.
  • Create physical databases.
  • Create data services by using Transact-SQL.
  • Monitor and optimize databases.
  • Manage and maintain databases.
