what is the difference between the web testing and GUI testing

GUI testing is the part of web testing as well as desktop testing

In GUI testing we check the graphical user interface that is Font size, font colour, links, labels etc.

Webtesting means it is an 3 tier architecture,
here we check the performance of the application (valoume, load, stress). Here we do the compactability testing, user interface testing etc.

Webtesting is Server side testing and GUI Testing is Client Side Testing

Web testing has much more than GUI testing. Such as Load tesing functionality testing Link testing etc

GUI testing is a part of Web testing

We can say in this manner also Final phase in Web testing is nothingbut GUI testing
