Describe: In of Process vs. Out of Process component. Which is faster?

Dear All,

In of process component running in same address space but out of Process component running in different address spaces.
Out of Process component create separate thread & run in that thread. example is ActiveX EXE. In of Process running same thread of standard EXE. Exmple is Activex Dll. In of process component are more faster than out of process beacuse. In of Process are reside in same mechine but out of process are not necessarily reside in same mechine.
