master detail view displays the parent and child applets. this is the different view. with MVG we can see the child records without going for another view. this will be achieved by MVG applet.

Following are the main advantages:-

1) MVG Makes effective use of the space.

2) Mutliple set of detail records can be viewed from a single view

Master-detail view displays the child records in different applet for a given parent record where MVG displays the child record(s) in the same applet.
