Satellite assemblies are user for localizing the applications resources. 
A satellite assembly is a DLL that contains only resource strings 
.we typically have one satellite assembly DLL for each language. Because these satellite assembly DLLs are separated from the main assembly (an .exe or DLL), it is easier to drop in multi-language support as we progress in your development process.

Assembly which is supposed to be deployed with project is known as sattelite assembly

What are Satellite Assemblies?
When we use a multi-lingual or multi-culture application in .Net and want to distribute the core application without modify the localize module the localize assembly that modify the core application called Satellite Assemblies.
