RE: 69min
The plane starts from Chichago at 6:44(Chichago local time). Let the time it takes to reach Columbus be x. It reaches Columbus at 8:49(Columbus local time) so the Chicago local time at that moment is 6:44+x. The duration of stay at Columbus is from 8:49 to 16:25 ie 7hrs 36mins.It leaves Columbus at 16:25 n reaches Chicago at 16:38(Chicago local time) taking x time again. So 6:44+x plus 7hrs 36mins plus x is 16:38(chicago local time). The duration between 6:44 and 16:38 is 9hrs 54mins.

Therefore (9hrs 54mins) (7hrs 36mins)+2x
x 1hr 9mins or 69mins.
