11 days.Look at the rates at which each man paints a house.Mr Brown = 1/6 house per dayMr Black = 1/8 house per dayMr Blue = 1/12 house per dayMr Brown paints for 8 days -> he paints 8/6 houses = 4/3 housesMr Black paints for 6 days -> he paints 6/8 houses = 3/4 housesThere are 3 houses total, therefore there is 3 - 4/3 - 3/4 = 11/12 houses to paint.Mr Blue paints 1/12 house per day, therefore it takes him 11 days to finish the painting
