(18+x)/(60+x) = 50

x = 24

Now given the baseball team had played 60 games.
and won 30%
then 60*(30/10)=18
now after a phenomenal winning is the average to 50%
now team players the y, ok the increases the 50% then


60+y)*50/100=18+y
(60+y)/2=18+y
60+y=36+2y
24=y
Ans is y=24

You might obliviously missed to place 100 as denominator of 50.
