How can I post a journal in an error status? It does not show in the post journal batches screen.

The posting journal batches screen will only display journals available for posting. A batch in error is not available for posting. If you cannot clear the error you need to post from the journal entry screen see note 1061835.6 for detailed instructions.

Hi,

You can't post the Journals with out clearing the errors...
Please provide specific error so that we can have work around solutions for the same.

What are the basic things to do transfer the data files between the trading partners in edi?

Posting fails with error 7: showing invalid journal entry lines or no journal entry lines for this batch. How can I correct this and resubmit the batch for posting?

Correct the journal lines that caused the error(s). Make a dummy change to the batch so the status will be updated, then resubmit the batch for posting. See note 1061835.6 for detailed instructions.

Check whether the journal's credit and debit amount is same or not. If it is not same then this error will occur.

HI,

Every version has their own new funtionality and fix of bugs in earlier version.

The comparsion between 11i 5.7 to 5.10 lot of new funtionality is added and lot of bugs has been fix.

example :

In 11.5.5 their was an bug on Trip Stop in OM.

Later this bug was fix acurately in 11.5.9

 no, you can only post to detail level accounts. Parent accounts do not  hold balances.

No...Parent account are made in Orrapps which are not posted to your GL, Hence u can not post

When this is done, you will be able to quick pick on the rollup group name on the define  segment values form.

By unfreezing rolllup group you can make changes to the rollup group. After making changes, you have to freez it again and compile it to get the effect of change.
