MS Access International Characters
I am using MS Access as backed to store data having hindi fonts. My problem is I want to sort records according to Hindi Alphabets.

To sort on international characters you use unicode coversion. first convert the character to equivalent unicode value and then you can sort it in number order.

Backup and Restore works well and its also faster when compare to copying data and log file. Impoert/Export works well if your dealing with very small databases. If we have few million rows its takes minutes to copy when compared to seconds using backup and restore.
