Future Scope of Sales-Force and COBOL.

I am 2013 pass-out. I worked 2.5yr as BDE in some startup. They shutdown their company without telling to employee and with no proper evidence of working there. I was left with offer letter only. Now I am not able to get what should I do in order to get a new job as no one consider me as experienced one.. I am thinking to go for sales-force. This is good decision or not? I m really worried about getting a job again.
