How would I make my Profile Competitive?

I joined a manufacturing Industry as a fresher. My main role was testing production units like UPS, DCPS etc. After 2 years i switched to other company, where my role is to test proto units. This is also a manufacturing company but my role is to assist the engineering in their testing works. Here I am involved in Software manual testing, Functional testing of power units. My profile name is Design Validation and Testing Engineer but actually it is conflicting to my work.
This is limiting my job opportunities. I am unable to represent job role distinctly. Please guide.
