There are two types of suspension. they are:-
1) Independent
2) Non Independent

The different types of suspension include: coil spring suspension, leaf spring suspension, coilover suspension, torsion bar suspension, air bag suspension. There may be more, but those are the primary types of suspension used in autos. All will include shock absorbers or struts to absorb rebound.

suspension is used for reduce the impact force to body,steering and for direction stability!!!thera are two types of suspension they are 1.rigid 2.independent !!!!in rigid both left and right wheels are mounted on a single axle!!!but not in independent!!!!
