Client server testing

Connecting to database and Inserting / updating / deleting records comes under client server testing.

Testing of client server application is almost equals of testing the web application only diff is there is c/s is 2 tier application and web application is 3 ties application...

And i feel it's little bit tuff to ans generic questions like this.. let me know if i'm wrong..

One difference is that Client server testing does not need you to use your web browser.
