RE: Experience Base Testing

There are 2 types of experience testing

1) error guessing

2) exploratory testing

1) Error guessing: This is a way where tester uses all his previous experience and try to guess the defects that are possible to occur in the application and prepares his test cases in accordance with these guessed errors.

2) Exploratory testing: In this kind of testing the experience of the tester will be used to explore the system, the tester in here will have sound general testing experience but will not have any experience regarding the application that is under test .This type of testing normally complements the the formal testing process. Because the tester will take an informal notes while doing exploratory testing and this will be used later write new and better test cases
