Uses: Pulleys are one of the types of transmission devices which are used for transmitting power from 1 shaft to another shaft with the help of belts of ropes.

Types of pulleys:
1. Cast iron pulleys

5. Fats & loose pulleys.

Its size is designated by its width, rim diameter.
Pulley width should b more than its belt width in order to accommodate belt in pulley..
