Who would you help first?

You are a systems administrator and have just arrived at work. You are told by the helpdesk that the CEO can't boot up his laptop and he has tried several times without success, the CFO can't print a report he needs for a meeting he has to go to in 15 minutes, and nobody in the company can get or send emails. Who would you help first?

i will help first to CFO as he has to go for meeting in 15 mnts. On other hand ,problem of printer is always smaller then the booting broblem..problem of CEO will take more time then problem of printing. same time I can allot stand by system to CEO on temparory basis.

Well, the first person to be helped is the CEO because it's through him that i got the job but maybe during the job, I will inform him of the CFO's system which is not also working, it will now be his own decision if he wants me to go and help the CFO before his.

I would help the CFO first as he has a meeting and he pays the bills. Next I would check on the Email issue but first asking the helpdesk to advise the CEO that there is a company wide issue with email and to get furthur information about his issue, as in, where the boot process fails. This will give him statisfaction that his problem is being seen while you can tend to the email issue. Once the email issue has been resolved the CEO can then be looked at. The worst thing to do here in my opinion would be to fix the CEO's laptop and then tell him that email is down and he cant use it.

First we will give priority to email issues coz no one is able to send and recive mails in the organization. then we will keep informing to CEO and CFO regarding email issues. then we can set the priority for CFO coz there is meeting scheduled and after that CEO for booting issue.

Offer to print the report out for the CFO for him. Work the email issue. Fix the CEO then return and fix the CFO's prinitng issues.
