Hi I am new to load testing .Currently i am using Load runner 8.2. i have recorded a script for login screen with some UID/PWD.In load runner Controller i have selected 100 Vusers,and i the run script.My question is :1.)Is the same script runs 100 times for same UID/PWD what i have entered during Recording.2.)If my data base contains only 50 users.Selecting 100 Vusers is a valid case?.3.)If i have selected 100 Vusers,is it necessary to enter 100 UID/PWD.Regards,vivek

I am using QTP against Oracle Apps. I have successfully used QTP against one of my Oracle App instances. However I am unable to get a 'connection' between QTP and Oracle in my pre-prod instance. When I do an Object Spy against a form in this instance QTP only see JavaObjects - not Oracle Objects. I have set the ICX:Form Laucher system profile option correctly but still get this error. Any ideas?
I am writing a script that has three apps that I am trying to run tests on.Internet Explorer & two java apps that we are building Case Initiation Minutes I have all three applications set to launch in Record and Run Setting. IE launches through the usual browser tab and I have added the direct urls for each of the java applications.So each line is javaws http://............ I have link on my screenBuild Activity (9).Clicking on the link a page apperas.The number part above keeps on changing.If i record this click with text "Build Activity (9)"and twhile execution teh number changes say text becomes "Build Activity (2)" QTP thros an error saying then Object properties do not match or the object does not exist.I think Regexp can be a solution for this.Can anyone explain me how.Email: arthere@hotmail.com

Hi,I am new to QTP.Can anyone tell me how to solve thisAfter Running the action with 4(for examle) parameters by setting the Run on all rows option in the Action call properties in the action sheet,if i reduce the No of actions to less than 4 say 2 and run the action again,it is still running the script 4 times(keeping the run on all rows option as it is).Actually it should run for 2 times but running for 4 timesRegardsMurali
