Draw a square. Draw another square inside it joining the midpoints of the sides of the first one.

only 7 lines r needed.

draw a rectangle (4 lines)
divide it with a vertical line (1 line)
draw a diagonal each in the resulting two squares (2 lines)

draw a square usin 4 lines draw a diagonal inside the first square draw another square using 3 lines joinin the first square then draw a diagonal for this square

first draw a square and then draw another square inside the prevoius square such that its vertices are midpoints of the pevious square

Draw one square & draw another one square which it's edges touch center of the another square's sides.

first make a square ABCD with 4 lines.join AC and BD as a diagonals.assume that they cut at P. Now draw a line parallel to PA and another line parallel to PB. Suppose these parallel lines cut at Q.Hence PAQB would be the second square.In this way we can use 8 lines
