Can we execute QTP scripts in LoadRunner? Our system uses a Linux with tandem database. What's a tandem database and primarily what languages it uses like C++ or COBOL. What protocol should we select while creating scripts? like if its web we use HTTP protocol so for here what factors should we consider to select on a protocol.

How will you perform a load test if you do not have an application to record? You are basically doing load test on the stored procedure. what will be the best approach to do so? stored procedure is in .net and databse in sql server.

I have 2 doubts.Do I have to install the client application on the machines where I'm planning to use it for load test? so that it helps during the play back of the QTP scripts? for example :Assume I'm using one machine and I'm planning to run 1 vuser. I have a script which runs for multiple iterations and each iteration it takes new user login. but when i run it, it pops up the message, "user is still in active session". i got to manually terminate his session anmd then proceed further. how will i ensure the pervious user has been terminated. is there any command that actually terminates the user once he is logged out. please help me out.
