in system testing we are doing verification we are not doing validation and validation will be done at the last by quality controller (QC) and this has been done to get the confirmation that product meet the customer requirement or not

hi
In system testing we are verifying data only in UAT testing we have to check for validation not verification. verification is nothing but to confirm whether we built the product right validation is to confirm do we built right product?

RE: In System Testing itself we are validating the data then why we have to go for Validation Testing
System testing means testing the entire application from end to end.
As far of my knowledge Verfication will be done before starting the actual testing. i.e. attending the reviews in all the phases like SRD Design Test Plan & Cases and baseline the same. These things comes under the verification phase just like static testing.
Coming to the validation performing the actual testing once the Code was deployed into System Test Environment. Ofcourse System testing may constitue different types of testing and that is purely based upon the application what types of testing we are supposed to perform..
Plz Correct me if i am wrong.

I think You are rite Nagaarjuna....verifications will be done before actual testing starts like reviewing documents (design document reviewing code test documents) but it is not the answer of given question ..... Question is ....system testing is itself validation testing then Y do we need to go for Validation testing
