Difference between GOBACK & CHAIN in COBOL?

goback:
            controller should return back to where ever it comes from.
chain:
         controller will go to subprogram after compleation of subprogram it will go to os.

GOBACK

Controll will goes back where it is receive.

If it is coded in Sub programe. controll will goes to Main program after the execution.
Plz note that do not stop run the sub program when we are using the goback.

Chain

control will pass to next level.
