Hi Swathi,

This is Venkatraja. I had got your query through Geekinterview Website. To get a job follow the below given useful tips:

1. Since you have one year Manual Testing experience and u had completed your BE in 2003, you can apply for Testing job in Bangalore with 3+Years of experience.

2. According to the current Testing Job Market, the companies are recruiting minimum of 2+ and a maximum of 3+ or above years of experience candidates. For you it is better to apply with 3+ years of experience, because u are having 3+ years of gap after your BE. This helps you to mention 3+ Years of experience in your resume and apply for Testing Job.

3. Gain more knowledge in Manual Testing apart from which u know.

4. Make extensive use of Internet to collect more Info. about Software Testing concepts.

5. Prepare a good resume with 3+ Years of experience and mention the First Project in your resume which u have done previously in Hyderabad. This helps you to say more about the Project in the Interview.

5. Post your resume in Naukri and Monster Job sites, which helps you to get more emails from Consultancies and also from Companies regarding to Testing requirements.

6. Reply to the mails immediately, which u had received from Consultancies or from Companies.

6. Try to attend Walk-in Interviews so that u can get more Interview Questions related to real-time.

7. Work hard and keep on trying, you will get Testing Job soon in a reputed company.

8. Dont get nervous or don't feel anxiety or depressed if you are not qualified in an  Interview.

9. The Group/Set of Failure Interviews is a way to an Successful Interview one day.

10. Don't waste your time and start working.

For any Queries related to Testing,
