U can say 600-900GB including Ur Marts.It varies depending up on ur Project Structure and How many data marts and EDWH

You can answer this question as the number of facts and dimension in ur warehouse

For Example: Insurance Datawarehouse
 2 Facts : Claims and policy
 8 Dimension : Coverage,Customer,Claim etc....

I think the interviewer wants to the number of facts and dimensions in the warehouse, and not the size in GB's or TB of the actual Database.

for a banking domain if we are Maintaining customer infowarehouse
the size of DB is 9GB
1.4 dimensions-Customer,period or time,productand promotion
2.7 fact tables
3.approx min 45 mappings
