We can't answer this question as the length and breadth of the rectangle was not mentioned. Rectangles of different length and breadth can be formed out of the square and without the specifications about the length and breadth solution is not possible.

for a 14x14 squares there will be 15 horizontal lines and 15 vertical lines.

inorder to form a quadrilateral we require 2 horizontal n 2 vertical lines.

no of quardilaterals 15C2 * 15c2 ---> 1
no of squares formed (n(n+1)(2n+1))/6 ---> 2

no of rectangles eqn1 - eqn2

Total squares 14*14 196.
we can make one rectangle by mixing 2 squares.
Therefore 196/2 98 rectangles

Therefore 14 *14 squares can make 98 rectangles.

Total no of rectangles n(n+1)/2^2 11025
