Can we use QTP(8.2 or 9.0) with Test Director?

Hi,

 Just need a clarification

In my knowledge QTP(Quickk Test Professional from Mercury) doesn't have a version 9.0. It is Quick Test Pro(from Astra) which has a version 9.0.

Frenz, pls correct me if I'm wrong.

we can use Test directory in QTP 8.2

Using Quality center Connection This option is Available on Tools option in Qtp 8.2

If i am wrong can u give correct Answer

According to my knowledge Mercury bought "Quick Astra" in year 2000/2001, and after that Mercury name it as "Quick Test Pro" and from that onwards all the versions are introduced as QTP only and not Astra. Correct me if i am wrong.

HI

The latest Version of QTP is 9.0

we can use Test Director in in QTP 8.2,9.0 versions by connecting in to the quality centre

Here Quality Centre nothing but Test Director
