Non Functional Requirement is some thing like What should be GUI colour of the application. What should be font of the field captions buttons message titles. What should be the style of the field captions button captions message.
Ex . With in three clicks user should be able to access the required screen.
The page should load with 1 sec (With out). With data ranging between 10000 and more page should load with 4 - 5 secs. (For Windows applcation)
Application should be able work 24/7.
These are the few examples of NoN - Functional requirements.

Graphical display of the application is non functional requirements. Eg: an image needs to be displayed is the requirement but that image is not linked with any other object/link is non functional. So that image will be considered as Non-Functional Requirement.
