You need to set up the QA environment to simulate th actual production or live environment. The intention of performance testing is to check that the application is stable and scalable under varied load and strss conditions. Hence while testing the application under test should have an environment simlar to the live environment.

Also with regards to QA setup The client as well as the server Mc should be able to withstand the footprints that gets created by the Virual user load that is generated.

The major issues faced are the hardware setup, secondly the real time usage scnarios replication

hi

we have to actually do performance testing in production environment thats why we actually create a seperate QA performance Environment with Large data/load to ensure that system is stable at heavy loads, because while doing a functional testing we may not add data which is in lakhs

Thanks
