Here are some of con's of winrunner.. * Has basically been superceded by QuickTest Pro. * Looking at ?program code? for the test case. * Coding is done in a proprietary language (TSL). * Very few resources available on TSL programming (it is based on the C programming language, but is not C). * Need to be able to program to a certain extent in order to gain flexibility and parameterization. * Need training to implement properly. * The GUI Map can be difficult to understand and implement.

Winrunner will support Delphi applications only if you purchase Delphi Add-in, which is expensive.

Hi,

My name is Nagaraj, this is regarding Winrunner discussion,

1) Winrunner supports web based application,

2) if you go for the latest version of Winrunner example (8.0+), it supports dotnet, you will get dotnet addin also.

I think what ever QTP supports Winruuner also supports the only difference I found is QTP is very userfriendly in terms of writing the scripts and handling with the object property values.

Thanks and Regards,

Nagaraj.A
