What is a Multi-homed Host?

It is a host that has a multiple network interfaces and that requires multiple IP addresses is called as a Multi-homed Host.

If more than one NICs (Network Interface Card/ Network Adapter) are installed having different IP Addresses onto it, The Pc Becomes a Multihomed Host.
