Dear Deepika,Diff betw Baseband and broadbandBaseband can carry both analog and digital signal where as broadband carries analog signal.Baseband is like point to point communication and broadband to is point to multipoint communication.base will carry single signal in a medium but broadband can carry multisignals through single medium with shared bandwidth

Baseband communication uses TDM.  Whole bandwidth is provided to one user at a time. This type of communication is basically used in LAN where data is transmitted in the form of packets (ETHERNET).Broadband communication is based on FDM. More than one signal is transmitted at a time (but at different frequencies). These are used in television broadcasting.
