Here in Usability testing we can check the user friendliness of the application. fro example yahoo web site is better than rediffmail for userfriendliness.

Where as a Graphical User Interface(GUI) testing is to check the objects in the form, whether the buttons , text boxes, list boxes are aligned in correctly in the form ar not. Here we can see look and feel of the application.

Usability Testing is to test if the application is usable by all the users like the person with disabilities.like how ease the application for the disabled to use.

GUI testing is the testing done to ensure that the Textboxes, Captions, Radio Buttons, ... are placed properly and the coloring is given properly for the page and tabbing is provided to move between the objects etc.

Usability Testing: Testing the ease with which users can learn and use a product.

GUI testing:GUI testing is the process of testing a graphical user interface to ensure it meets its written specifications. This is normally done through the use of a variety of test cases.
